BID-2021 will take place 6/7 May 2021 at the DZNE / IKND in Magdeburg, Germany. It will hosted by the Cortical Microstructure Research Group. Organizers will be Alicia Northall, Avinash Kalyani, and myself.

Ultra-high field image processing using Nighres
In this 3 hour workshop, you will learn how to use Nighres to perform brain parcellation, denoising, cortical reconstruction (including the cerebellum), and qMRI estimation on ultra-high field imaging data. You will be required to bring your own laptop and will be provided with downloads for test data.

Layer-fMRI analyses using LAYNII
Brief description: In this 3 hour workshop that builds on Workshop 1, you will learn how to use LAYNII to perform layer-dependent analyses of functional imaging data including noise mapping, layer definition, and profile extraction. You will be required to bring your own laptop, and will be provided with downloads for test data. You will need to install the LAYNII software package, and a nii viewer (e.g., ITK-SNAP).
Extra: You will also have the possibility to send your own „data challenges“ to us beforehand to develop and discuss solutions on your problem together during the Workshop.
