Brain-In-Depth (BID) is an international conference on meso-scale MR Imaging organized by the Translational Imaging of Cortical Microstructure Research Group. BID brings together international experts on structural and functional ultra-high field imaging both from basic and applied science. The conference encompasses keynote talks, talks, and poster sessions. The conference is organized in collaboration with the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) and the Max Planck Society (MPS), in particular the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig and the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, and the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research (HIH).

BID-2024 will take place in 14-15 March 2024 in Tübingen! Stay tuned via our BID twitter channel!

Check past conference programs from BID-2017, BID-2018, BID-2019 and BID-2021.

The MRI - Neuroimaging Meeting Tübingen brings together researchers from the University Tübingen, the Max Planck Institutes and the Werner Siemens Imaging Center to present and discuss MRI - NeuroImaging projects and findings. The goal is twofold. Firstly, the meeting facilitates exchange of the great research that is done across Tübingen. Secondly, our meeting embeds the (mandatory) project presentations on planned MRI projects. We will give you initial feedback on design, planned sequences, and analysis methods, but you can also present data where you got “stuck” in the analyses and/or need feedback for data analyses and interpretation. Sometimes, also new MRI methods or analyses approaches are presented.
